What it does, in one minute

A client answers questions about what they are opening, buying, moving, or changing. The tool returns an ordered task list — before signing, before building, before opening, after opening — where every task carries the question to ask, the documents to have ready, the office that decides, and the official Michigan source with its review date. What a client can verify

It never says the business or site is approved. Unresolved answers become follow-up questions; every call sheet ends with a coverage receipt naming what was checked, what is decided elsewhere, and what was not checked; and every task links to the official source so your client can verify before acting. It is a routing and preparation tool — the agency or local office always makes the final call, and the Terms say so plainly.

Practical ways to use it

Before a site visit or first counseling session, have the client run the route that fits and bring the printed or downloaded call sheet. The “Have ready” lists double as a document checklist for underwriting or lease review, and the unknowns section is a ready-made agenda.
